World's 7 Most Ridiculously Expensive Cars

There are cars, there are luxury cars, and then there are these bad boys. David Zuckerberg of Rides magazine put together a list of the most insane super-cars in the world. Take a look at some of the most elite driving machines on the planet. And remember: if you have to ask about the price, you can't afford it.

Koenigsegg Agera
First up is the Koenigsegg Agera. The Swedish car manufacturer focuses exclusively on uber-expensive cars. The Agera pumps out over 900 horsepower, and its carbon fiber body makes it lightweight, aerodynamic and very pretty to look at. How much does this Scandinavian supercar cost?
Koenigsegg's website claims the Agera was built with a "less is more" philosophy. When it comes to the price, the emphasis is definitely on "more." $2.1 million "more."

Aston Martin One-77
The number one choice of superagents, Aston Martin is known for their hyper-elite rides. The One-77 is the pride of the pack, utilizing all of Aston Martin's technological skills and artistic design. The company only built a limited number, so expect to shell out quite a bit for the privilege of owning one. How much exactly?
Aston Martin doesn't call the One-77 a car, but rather an "automotive art form." Like all good art, it isn't cheap. It'll cost you $1.87 million.

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Grand Sport
Italian manufacturers Bugatti are automotive artisans. They built the luxurious Veyron, the high-performance Grand Sport, and for their next trick they combined the two into this elite supercar. It's the best of both worlds, but you had best be ready to drop some serious cash for it.
Bugattis are built for the wealthy, and when you get two of their most prominent brands combined in one car, even the rich might have trouble fronting the cost: $2 million.

Maybach Laundalet
For those who prefer their insanely expensive rides to be comfortable rather than speedy, Maybach built the Laundalet. Almost a yacht on wheels, the Laundalet has a spacious leather interior with only the finest luxuries and a convertible rear roof - the better to wave at commoners as you zip by. Can you pay the cost to ride like the boss?
The Laundalet costs $1.4 million. Chauffeur sold separately.
On the sporty side of the spectrum is the LeBlanc Mirabeau. This car is built for speed and can hit 230 mph without breaking a sweat. But performance comes with a price.
Compared to other cars on this list, the Mirabeau is a steal. Compared to any other car on the planet, the Mirabeau is an outrageous luxury at $755,000. It's all relative.

Pagani Zonda F Roadster
Italian manufacturer Pagani makes a variety of uber-expensive sports cars. The Zonda F Roadster has all the luxury and performance you'd expect from an Italian supercar. It also has a price that might exceed expectations.
Pagani may be the least known of the elite Italian manufacturers. But you wouldn't guess that from looking at the price: $1.4 million. Amazingly, the Zonda F Roadster isn't even the most expensive car Pagani makes...

Pagani Zonda Cinque Roadster
Was the Zonda F Roadster not outrageously ostentatious enough for you? Check out the Zonda Cinque Roadster. All the performance you'd expect from a Zonda, plus an even more tricked-out chassis and a ridiculous paint job. And the price?
That red racing stripe will set you back $1.8 million.

 Lamborghini Reventon
Lamborghinis are known for their performance and price tag. With a reputation like that, their only option is to build cars with better performance and bigger price tags. Meet the Reventon, Lamborghini's most expensive car. How expensive could a 211 mph hyper-car possibly be?
Anyone thinking of driving at that speed should have $1.42 million handy.
Koenigsegg Trevita
Back to Sweden for this beauty. Koenigsegg tops the list with the carbon diamond-weave Trevita. Only three have ever been made, making it possibly the most exclusive car on the planet. All the precision of a Koenigsegg, plus the bragging rights of owning this rare automotive beast. How much is that worth?
This ridiculously expensive car will set you back $2.21 million. But it will give you something to discuss with Jay Leno if you bump into him - he reportedly owns one.

Transverse Vs Longitudinal Engines: The Pros And Cons

The way in which an engine is orientated can have a huge influence on the rest of a car’s design. Should the car be rear-wheel drive? What size of engine is expected? Are there space issues that could influence which way the engine lies? All these questions have to be answered by the engineers responsible for the car, as the powertrain setup can have a large impact on how the car goes, handles and stops. Looking at front-engined cars, the two possible orientations are longitudinal and transverse, with each having its own benefits and drawbacks that can govern which is chosen for the car at hand. In-light of this engineering decision, here’s a basic guide to the features of each engine layout and which is best for different applications. Transverse engines Transverse engines are mounted perpendicularly to the direction of travel, lying horizontally within the engine bay. This is predominantly used in front-engined, front-wheel drive setups but has also been implemented i

How Twin-clutch Transmission Works (DSG)

The dual-clutch transmission, also known as the Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) or twin-clutch transmission, is an automated transmission that can change gears faster than any other geared transmission. Dual clutch transmissions deliver more power and better control than conventional automatic transmission and faster performance than manual transmission. Originally marketed by Volkswagen as the DSG and Audi as the S-Tronic, dual-clutch transmissions are now offered by several automakers, including Ford, Mitsubishi, Smart, Hyundai and Porsche. DRIVING A CAR WITH A TWIN-CLUTCH / DSG TRANSMISSION. Twin-clutch equipped cars do not have a clutch pedal; the clutch is engaged and disengaged automatically. The twin-clutch transmissions bridge uses an automatic-style shift selector with a traditional P-R-N-D or P-R-N-D-S (Sport) shift pattern. In "Drive" or "Sport" mode, the dual-clutch transmission operates as a regular automatic. In "Drive" mode, the transmission

VolksWagen Jetta Mk4 Custom Coupe 4Motion R32 Twin Turbo Build Project.

VolksWagen Jetta Mk4 Custom Coupe 4 Motion R32 Turbo Build Project He and his mates were out hooning in a borrowed MK4 R32, when they hit a 30-mph corner at 100 mph. They survived, the R32 did not. But the 4Motion lives on in a MK4 Jetta coupe. You heard right. The ol' Waterfest/H20/Motorstadt crowd may recall 1552 Design's Project X, which the shop chopped a Jetta sedan into the coupe many wished VW would build. This Kiwi project employs the guts from that lost R32—the carcass of which the builder acquired from the previous owner—in the service of a Mk4 Jetta Coupe 4 Motion R32 Turbo build. A noble effort indeed. As Builder explains, to build a MK4 Jetta coupe, you must take the doors from a Golf three-door hatch (they're longer), move the B-pillar to accommodate the new portals, "then fill in the gap between the door and the rear quarter panel." Easy. ----------------------------------------------------- This video purpose is to tell world about amazin
